Type C INOX A2 tread support for screwing into wood. T = 50 mm with an 18 mm gap, or T = 68 mm flush. Version C requires no additional tread machining. Fit with tool LF 2151.036.3; Waxilit eases installation.
Type C tread support for wood, T = 50 / 68 mm
This INOX A2 tread support screws directly into wood. With an 18 mm gap between the wood and tread, the embedment depth is T = 50 mm. For flush installation, it is T = 68 mm. The appropriate version depends on the wood species and grain direction.
Installation
In installation version C, the tread rests directly on the connector and is screwed in place without additional machining. For installation with an 18 mm gap, the hole in the wood is Ø25 × 50 mm. Use driving tool LF 2151.036.3. Waxilit lubricant reduces driving resistance.
For Fermacell-lined walls, take the timber structure behind the lining into account when choosing the version.
