Stair tread bolt Set 3624B – side fixing with a drilled recess

LamiFIX stair tread bolt Set 3624B allows treads with a drilled recess to be fitted to a wooden stringer or directly into a wooden wall. The connector is inserted into the hole in the tread. A matching cover cap gives the fixing point a neat finish.

Application and design

The bolt screws flush into the wooden stringer or wall. Embedment depth T = 38 mm, with no gap. According to catalogue page 18, this version is suitable for glued laminated timber in the first two illustrated grain directions and for softwood in the first illustrated direction. Refer to the blue values and grain direction in the product gallery table.

Installation

Holes in the wooden stringer or wall must be drilled accurately in position and angle.

For stairs without stringers, we lend drill bushes free of charge for up to three months. They make accurate on-site drilling straightforward.
